Day OneWelcome to India! Upon arrival, you will be met at the airport by a representative who will transfer you to the Pride Plaza hotel where you can rest and recover before a culinary experience at Spice Route.

Day TwoAfter breakfast, depart on a scenic drive to Mandawa. Once we settle into our accommodations at the Castle Mandawa, we will take a recce tour of the ornate havelis, stunning frescoes, and regal architecture.

Day ThreeOur day will begin with an early morning session with Marwari horses in the sand dunes, followed by breakfast in the stables. The morning will continue as we photograph a mare and foal amidst a rustic Rajasthani backdrop. After a relaxing lunch at a desert resort, we will return to the stables for an afternoon shoot featuring all twelve Marwaris. The late afternoon will be spent immersing into the culture- engaging with locals, observing traditional life, and enjoying tea with local snacks. Upon our return to Castle Mandawa, we will conclude the day with an image review and traditional Rajasthani dinner under the night skies.

Day Four Begin with another sunrise session, capturing horses in the soft morning light as they move through the historic townscape. This session will focus on the exquisite havelis, with two beautifully adorned hoses and a male model dressed in traditional Rajasthani attire. After lunch, our session will continue at three of the most celebrated havelis. Tea and snacks will be served through the conclusion, followed by image review and a relaxing dinner at Castle Mandawa.

Day FiveAfter breakfast, we will travel to Jaipur- the vibrant capital of Rajasthan known as the Pink City. The rest of the day is allocated for rest, personal excursions, and editing. We will overnight at the hotel Alsisar Haveli.

Day SixOur exploration of Jaipur will begin with a trip to the majestic Amber Fort, City Palace, and bustling local markets. In the afternoon, we will step away from the tourist trail to discover Jaipurβs hidden artisans. As the day winds down, enjoy an evening at a beautifully restored heritage haveli, where traditional Rajasthani hospitality, music, and cuisine create a charming atmosphere.

Day SevenAfter breakfast, depart for Jodhpur with scenic stops en route for photography opportunities along the way. On arrival in the βBlue Cityβ, settle into your hotel before beginning your evening exploration. Our lodging is a historic heritage hotel set in a former royal palace.

Day EightBegin your day with an early morning photo walk through the Blue Cityβs old quarters. After lunch, check in to Rohetgarh Fort- a tranquil retreat with a strong equestrian legacy. In the late afternoon, enjoy a session set against the striking architecture of the fort, featuring Marwari horses and local villagers in traditional attire. In the evening, gather for an insightful interaction with a member of the resident family for the history and legacies of Rohetgarh and Marwari horses. This will offer an authentic royal experience amidst traditional Rajput architecture.

Day NineBegin the early morning with a drive to Mihirgarh, the βFort of the Sunβ, where we will photograph Marwari horses in a magical morning light setting. We will capture their fluid movements and silhouettes while they gallop freely across the dunes and paddocks. A light breakfast will be served before returning to Rohetgarh Fort to review images. A traditional Rajasthani lunch will be served before departing for the afternoon session, an unforgettable sunset shoot at Mihirgarh with the Marwari horses and handlers against the Fort and desert backdrop. The evening will conclude with tea and reflections before returning for a celebratory dinner at Rohetgarh Fort.

Day TenAfter breakfast, depart on a one hour drive to the Jodhpur airport to catch a flight to Delhi. Upon arrival, we will drive straight to Agra and check in to the Grand Mercure hotel. The remainder of the day is set aside for leisure and exploration.

Day Eleven The day begins with an unforgettable sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal. After returning to the hotel for breakfast, we will take a sightseeing visit to the Agra Fort and continue on to the Delhi airport for travel home.

Booking will open on January 1st, 2026. You may select the event from the Lane Equine Photography store and the deposit will be due upon checkout. Following such, you will receive an event contract and invoice for the remainder, payable in one sum or a variety of payment plan options.
